I am an Affiliated Researcher at the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine. I am working on developing cutting-edge ML/AI-based approaches with applications at the forefront of research in clinical genomics.

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Bioinformatics in the Department of Medicine at the University of Cambridge and in the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge. My research is focused on the development and application of computational methods for functional genomic annotation.

I worked in the group of Professor Andrew Firth, developing computational methods for the statistical analysis of genomic data. In particular, I worked on methods for study of the viral genome evolution and gene regulation.

I was awarded a scholarship as part of the Wellcome Trust Computational Infection Biology PhD programme at University College Dublin. I undertook my doctorate studies in the group of Prof. Brendan Loftus at the Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research.
